Woman Goes for Leg Operation, Gets New Anus Instead

A German pensioner is taking a hospital to court after she went in for a leg operation and got a new anus instead, it has been reported in the press.

The woman woke up to find she had been mixed up with another patient suffering from incontinence who was to have surgery on her sphincter.

The Pensioner concerned although happy with her youthful sphincter is less than happy that leg had not been operated on. A spokesperson for the hospital concerned confirmed that it was merely a mistake and that they have apologized. When asked how such a mistake could happen the spokesperson replied, ” I think it was a case of the medical records being mixed up and the surgeon looking at the pensioners notes which where placed at the bottom of the pile.”
