BBC TV Sees Religion As ‘Tiresome Obligation’

Religious coverage is seen as a “rather tiresome obligation” by “secular and sceptical” BBC television staff, a Radio 4 broadcaster has said.
Roger Bolton called for the appointment of a BBC religion editor to improve  coverage of faith matters.

I was turned off from watching religious programmes when Nun’s stopped looking sexy on television.

Perhaps a Jeremy Kyle type programme would be the answer? Although I am not sure titles like Bell Ringers Keep Me Up All Night and Choir Boys: I cannot get enough of them may be right for the terrestrial television.
