Pope To Help Pay Towards Costs Of His British Visit
The Papal Visit to Britain has caused some controversy over the huge cost of the security needed to make sure his holiness is safe. The British tax payers are expected to cover the costs as Pope Benedict tours the country over the next few days.
Exclusive photos confirm that the Pope will be selling ice creams from his mobile to save on the expected burden his visit will be to the British tax payer. However, critics have queried if the slogan down the side of the mobile he will be using is referring to the ice creams or the young choirboys and altar boys who will be helping out during his open air masses.
Rumours that the traditional children’s favourite the 99’er ice cream will be renamed as a 69’er has been strongly denied by Vatican officials.
