Hain resigns as Met considers ‘dodgy donations’ – Peter Hain has resigned from the Cabinet after his failure to declare £103,000 of campaign donations was referred to Scotland Yard. Perhaps Shadow chancellor George Osborne after his wrangle with £487,000 his office received from donors will now consider the same????
